Hi List, I got responses to my question very quickly and they worked great. Craig von Hagen and Bill Huber suggested I use Legend Limiter located at: http://gis.esri.com/arcscripts/details.cfm?CFGRIDKEY=D115BA99-3D67-11D4-942F This is a dynamic tool restricting your legend those features visible in the view extent at any time. David Gifford suggested another great tool, called ArcView Utility Tools, which has a tool called Subset a Legend. You can also get this tool from the Arcscripts page. This also limits your legend, but only to those legends in the theme at all times. Both these tools work great! Thanks to all who replied.
